My best friend came over my house with a bootleg of "Slumdog Millionaire". but it was such good quality, like the real thing! anyway, this is a fantastically powerful love story! Freida Pinto is gorgeous! M.I.A. is on the soundtrack! such a great movie!

There's one scene i want to share with you...

Jamal finds Latika after years of searching, and she is now with a rich, powerful gangster. He sees she is positively unhappy, and he whispers to her, "Come away with me." She looks at him doubtfully and asks, "Where? And live on what?" ...Without skipping a beat, he said, "Love."

Aaahhh i really appreciated this movie! it goes along with my views on Love, how it can overcome time, distance, money, everything. Life is fleeting, but Love is boundless. Put the two together, and u have an unstoppable force.

That scene ended with Latika pushing Jamal out of the house before the gangster could kill him.

She quickly says, "Jamal, do something for me."
He responds, "Anything."
"Forget about me."
